South Beach is a community on the Bay side of San Francisco. Located on the eastern edge of the city, South Beach overlooks the harbor. Kaiyo Rooftop brings together Japanese and Peruvian cuisine for a unique dining experience. This restaurant has been covered by the press extensively for its savory dishes and elaborate cocktails. With the incredible views from the rooftop bar, the food is just as great as the dining experience.
 
Another wonderful dining experience is found at MoMo’s American Bar and Grill, on the South of Market Waterfront. The outdoor seating provides patrons with a spectacular view of Oracle Ballpark. MoMo’s is a San Francisco staple.
 
South Beach has a fair share of celebrity chef restaurants. Stubborn Seed is a Michelin-star restaurant and James Beard Nominee. The chef, Jeremy Ford, won season 13 of Bravo’s Top Chef. His approach is to transform simple, fresh ingredients into creative and elegant culinary masterpieces. 

Forte dei Marmi is an exquisitely elegant Italian restaurant in a renovated Mediterranean-revival building. The outdoor patio is large and luxurious, with lush greenery. The interior is crisp and modern. Forte dei Marmi uses only the best organic ingredients. The food here isn’t rushed, and neither are the diners.
 

Things to Do

South Beach is dense with restaurants and shops, and there are plenty of options to enjoy nature. South Park is a stretch of recreational greenspace in the center of the city. The park contains a playground and a bike-accessible walking trail. South Beach Park is a waterfront park with a scenic walking trail and a playground for children. 
 
Oracle Park is a major league baseball stadium and home field for the San Francisco Giants. Fans can catch an MLB game or watch the Giants’ training camp at the park. The park also has special events for the public and is available for private events.
 
The Embarcadero Waterfront is a boardwalk that runs the length of the Bay from Bay Bridge to Fisherman’s Wharf. They hold a regular farmers’ market and have a large outdoor skating rink.
